Each class will provide 3 credits and last 11 weeks.

Each class is available on either a “for credit” or “audit” basis.

Degree or Certificate program students pay an initial one-time registration fee of $50.00.

The tuition for auditing any class is $120.00/class.

The tuition for Certificate program students is $180.00/class.

The tuition for Degree program students (Bachelor or Master level) is $300.00/class.

FMT 505 - Biblical Principles on Marriage and Family Print
A study of biblical teaching regarding marriage and family relationships. Evaluates the purpose of marriage, biblical roles of husband and wife, marital relationships, parenting skills, physical intimacy within marriage, stewardship of time and priorities, the relationship between the home and the church, the home as an educational agency, and the special challenges faced by pastors and their families. The course is an opportunity to begin thinking about and planning for concrete ways in which each person can proactively serve other family members God has given. The course is open to singles as well as married couples.

The course will also provide the student with an exposure to biblical evidentialism to help equip the student with a proper understanding of logic and biblically legitimate evidences.

The course includes an overview of the historical background and development of the charismatic movement. The course includes instruction on how to outline Bible studies based upon a textual message or topical message format. It exposes the students to the concept of “line diagramming” so that textual messages are truly driven by the Words of the Holy Spirit. It exposes the student to “block diagramming” to help the student learn how to spot the main themes of larger narratives. The course will help equip students for teaching at the small group and Sunday School levels and familiarize the student with the use of visual aids so as to become a vibrant teacher at both the child and adult levels.

Courses FMT 901-904 give recognition for prior Christian ministry at the church or mission levels. Three credits may be granted for three months of recognized Christian ministry with certain maximums. Documentation for such ministry must be provided, and such recognition is subject to approval by the Academic Dean. A maximum of 6 credits may be granted in the Masters of Biblical Studies and Master of Divinity programs. A maximum of 12 credits may be granted in the Bachelors of Biblical Studies program.
