The Front Range Bible Institute is pleased to announce its winter quarter 2013 classes. FRBI offers quality biblical and theological instruction to students at the local church level.
FRBI’s curriculum is designed to help Christians become equipped in a wide range of biblical, theological, and pastoral issues to better live out their Christian faith and to help equip them for effective service to Jesus Christ.
Classes start Tuesday, January 8th, 2013 and last for 11 weeks thru March 21.
- All courses are taught by seminary trained professors who hold a Master of Divinity degree or higher.
- VA benefits may be used towards education costs under Front Range Bible Institute.
- Continuing education credit is available for Christian educators working under ACSI.
The following courses will be offered this winter (January 8 – March 21):
Tuesdays 5:45pm – 8:00pm,
- Old Testament Survey II (OTE502) – Professor Aaron Otten
Covers the Writings (1 Chronicles – Song of Solomon).
Core Course. Required for all degree plans. No Prerequisite.
- Hermeneutics (BST501) – Professor Al Albano
An introduction to the science and art of hermeneutics (How to study the Bible)
Core Course. Required for all degree plans. No Prerequisite.
Tuesdays 8:00pm – 10:15pm
- Exposition of Revelation (NTE805) – Professor Tim Dane
An exposition emphasizing the literary structure, prominent systems of interpretation, exegetical problems, and theological values of this major book of prophecy. Elective. Prerequisite: BST 501.
Thursdays 5:45pm – 8:00pm
- Theology II (BST602) – Professor Tim Dane
A study of Angelology, Anthropology, and Harmartiology.
Core course. Required for all degree plans. No Prerequisite.
Thursdays 8:00pm – 10:15pm
- History of Israel (OTE504) – Professor Peter Wise
An examination of the history of God’s chosen nation
beginning with the call of Abraham and ending with the Persian period.
General Elective. No Prerequisite.
- Beginning Hebrew II (OTL502) – Professor Jonathan Henderson
A continuation of biblical Hebrew
Elective for Audit, CBS, BBS & MBS. Required for MDIV.
Independent Study
- Prior Instructor Approval Required.
Each course is directed by an FRBI Professor. Instruction is generally provided via DVD’s with active communication between student and professor. Students are responsible to complete the same requirements of classroom courses within the quarter.
